of domestice violence, knows someone who has experienced abuse, or has an interest in stopping domestic violence.

A call for each of us to look for opportunities to work toward change in our
families, peer groups, neighborhoods, workplaces and Legislature.
National Domestic Violence Statistcs
- Almost four million American women were abused by their husbands or boyfriends
in the last year alone.

A woman is physically abused every nine seconds in this country.
-
2/3 of attacks on women are commited by someone the victim knows, often
her husband or boyfriend.
- 42% of murdered women are killed by their intimate male partners.
