Thank you for your incredible post. I too wish we,I, had been there for you in those days. I too, suffered abuse at the hands of an ex-husband who carried many demons. We have to cling and hold on tight to each other to get through the horrors of our past lives, but we can do it. I have a feeling for good times ahead. The PeaceClinic, is making great strides for peace in all aspects. Friends, as Gladys, are making great strides in their personal lives. We still have a ways to go with our sick and ailing friends but with prayer and positive thoughts I feel this will turn for the best.

We have two new PeaceClinic members. They are Darlene Thompson and Sara Quaintance. We are very pleased they chose to join us.

We are gearing up for our new Peace Practitioners program. This program begins October 1, 2005. To register go to The PeaceClinic home site, http://thepeaceclinic.org and register. This allows you to become a certified peace advocate.

Lauren and I

Topic: Teen Violence

Lauren, my granddaughter, the teen advocate in our family, and I will be organizing teen meetings in the fall. She will begin, at the start of the new school year, talking to other teens concerning teen violence. I will contact school officials and discuss with them our idea of having teen meetings after school.

This will be a joint effort for us and we hope we may be able to enlighten our community about this growing problem.
